Team Canada took on Slovakia in the Quarter-Final round and as expected Canada had no troubles cruising to a 6-1 win. Barrett Hayton scored a pair, and Connor McMichael, Jacob Bernard-Docker, Liam Foudy, and Alexis Lafreniere found the back of the net in the win. The Canadians will move on to face Finland in the semi-finals on Saturday after Finland blanked the U.S 1-0. The other semi-final will see Sweden tangle with Russia. The final for the World Junior Hockey Championship is slated for Sunday.
