PRINCE GEORGE — 2019 was quite the year for Prince George Crime Stoppers.

The organization not only celebrated its 35th year in Prince George but it also received 700 tips – a record.

“Those tips resulted in 14 arrests, six cases cleared and 11 cash rewards approved,” says spokesperson Ron Polillo. “As well, $1,827,361 worth of drugs was seized and $545,657 in cash was recovered.”

Since its inception in 1985, Prince George Crime Stoppers has received 13,968 tips resulting in 1,561 arrests with a value of $38,658,561 of seized property and drugs recovered.
