Free Cougars game for CN Rail’s 100th anniversary

PRINCE GEORGE–A free Cougars game to celebrate the CN’s 100th Anniversary anyone?

In a release by the Prince George Cougars Wednesday, (Jan.8) morning CN Railway will be buying every seat at the Cougars VS Red Deer Rebels game on the Family Day Long Weekend.

The puck drop will be at 2 p.m. on Monday, Feb.17 and the CN’s mini-train will provide free rides to the public in the CN Centre parking lot starting at 11:30 a.m.

Proceeds from the chuck-a-puck contest and other fundraising initiatives around the Family Day game to the Spirit of the North Healthcare Foundation.

Tickets for the game are available now at Tickets North using the promo code “CNRAIL100” to qualify for the free ticket. Tickets are limited to a maximum of six per order.

CN was created by an Act of Parliament in Canada on June 6, 1919, the railway spans throughout BC all the way to the Gulf of Mexico. CN Railway started as a Federal Crown Corporation, for 75 years and was later privatized in 1995.
