A losing start on the road for the Prince George Cougars

REGINA–The Prince George Cougars opened their six-game East Division road trip with a 5-4 shootout loss to the Regina Pats Wednesday night. Filip Koffer scored twice for the Cats, and Brendan Boyle and Connor Bowie also scored in regulation. The Cougars had a 4-3 lead until the final minutes of regulation. Despite the loss,Taylor Gauthier was named the game’s third star,stopping 41 of 45 shots through 65-minutes. The Cougars (10-22-2-4) continue their East Division road trip on Friday when they visit the Prince Albert Raiders (21-14-5-1).
