Poisson taking part in top prospects game

Spruce Kings forward Nick Poisson is heading East for a few days.

Poisson will be on the ice tonight as part of the CJHL Top Prospects game in Hamilton Ontario. Poisson was a late addition to the game after initially missing the cut for the contest which pits the best prospects of Eastern Canada against the best of Western Canada. This is the 2nd year in a row that a Spruce King has been named to the Top Prospects game after Layton Ahac went last year in Okotoks. This is one of many accolades for Poisson this season as he was also part of Team Canada West at the World Junior A Challenge in Dawson Creek.
