MOOSE JAW — The east division road trip is always a grind but the Prince George Cougars earned a 3-2 win over the Moose Jaw Warriors to close it out, ending 2-2-1-1 as they head back home.

Rookie Craig Armstrong put home his first career WHL goal for the eventual game-winner midway through the second period. Cole Moberg picked up an assist on that one after scoring his sixth of the season in the first period en route to a first star performance. Mitch Kohner opened the scoring early in the first as the Cats pounced to a 2-0 lead through 20 minutes.

Tyler Brennan had another strong outing stopping 28 of 30 shots against to pick up his fourth win of the campaign.

A well-deserved break now for the 12-24-3-4 Prince George squad who are off until Friday when they host Kamloops for a back to back set at the CN Centre.
