Man dies in Cluculz Lake fire

CLUCULZ LAKE — One man is dead following a mobile home fire at Cluculz Lake Saturday (Jan.18).

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says police were called out to the fire at around 2 p.m. at the 3700 block of Miller Road.

She says crews arrived to find the home engulfed in flames.

Saunderson says the occupant of the home, an adult man, succumbed to his injuries.

She notes the fire does not appear to be suspicious and says the investigation has been handed over to the BC Coroners Service.
