Highway 97 accident and travel advisories

PRINCE GEORGE –Single-lane alternating traffic is moving through the scene of a multi-vehicle incident early this morning on Highway 97, about 21 kilometres north of Prince George.

A travel advisory remains in effect for that stretch of highway.

Advisories are also in effect for Highways 16 and 39 ,1 km south of the McKenzie junction to Prince George, and Highway 16 in both directions, 50 km west of McBride to Prince George, due to freezing rain and black ice.
