PRINCE GEORGE – Forestry, mining, oil and gas, as well as agriculture and tourism, will be topics of discussion at this year’s Natural Resources Forum, which kicks off this evening with a banquet dinner.

It’s the 17th annual Natural Resources Forum at the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre. Premier John Horgan is the luncheon speaker on Wednesday, while Haisla Chief Crystal Smith with speak over the lunch hour on Thursday.

Also, organizer Sarah Weber says the results of the first-ever Natural Resources Survey will be released on Tuesday.

“We partnered with the BC Chamber of Commerce and we were trying to get a sense of what people are feeling about BC’s natural resource industry,” says Weber.
