The Cariboo Cougars were back on the bus this past weekend for a pair of games down in Vancouver. However, it was a tough two contests for the Major Midget Cats as they dropped both games to the Vancouver North East Chiefs. First falling Saturday 3-2, and Sunday 5-4 to the 2nd place Chiefs. The two losses drop Cariboo’s record to 18-10-1-1 on the year and now sit 5th in the league standings. The major midget Cats will be back on the ice this weekend when they head down to Kelowna for the BC Major Midget Showcase where they will tangle with the South Island Royals for two games. The Royals are currently tied for 8th in the league standings with a 10-21-1-0 record.
