Natural Resource Forum was taking place within the doors of the Prince George Conference and Civic Centre, outside, a gathering of people following the 2nd Annual Natural Resource Roll-In, put on by organizers from The North Matters, a group working to ensure economies and culture of rural communities are protected.

“I think the really big story, and the really exciting news today, is we have a number of speakers here representing multiple of industries. Political figures in attendance included MLA’s Shirley Bond, Mike Morris and John Rustad, MP Bob Zimmer, as well as BC Liberal leader Andrew Wilkinson. Organizers of the event said an invitation was made to Premier John Horgan, however, at the time of the event, he was the keynote speaker inside the B.C. Natural Resource Forum.
