Richards rink 2-1 at B.C Scotties

Now in other news on the pebbled ice, the 2020 BC Scotties Tournament of Hearts kicked off yesterday in Cranbrook. 8 teams are duking it out in Cranbrook for a chance to represent BC at the 2020 Scotties Tournament of Hearts in Moose Jaw which begins on February 15th. Team Richards features Brette Richards and Blaine de Jager both from Prince George and they split their opening games at the tournament yesterday dropping their first contest 9-7, and then bouncing back in the evening 9-4. The local rink kicked off today with a tight 6-5 win and will conclude the day this evening against Team Thompson. The top 4 make the page playoff.
