TRAIL– The Prince George Spruce Kings fell hard in Trail Wednesday night, losing 9-2 to the Smoke Eaters.

Corey Cunningham scored both goals for the Spruce Kings in Wednesday’s loss which drops the Kings to 16-27-2-3 on the year and are now 1-3 on their current 6 game road trip.

The Kings will have Thursday off and will be back on the ice Friday in Vernon against the Vipers.

In the lone meeting of the season between Prince George and Vernon, the Vipers claimed a shootout win at the Rolling Mix Concrete Arena back in November.
