Integris hosts grand opening at new Fraser Lake location

FRASER LAKE– After losing its only financial institution back in 2019, Fraser Lake is celebrating the opening of a new one today, March 4.

Integris is opening a new branch in the Lakes District community. Members of the community are able to attend the grand opening where CEO Alison Hoskins, Board Member Noella Herod, and Integris staff between 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. on March 4th.

“As the CEO, with roots in this region, it is with strong pride that Integris is able to service the community of Fraser Lake. The proximity of our full-service branch in Vanderhoof was an integral part of the business model. Our two-day operation will provide needed banking services by staff that provide financial expertise with a full-time commitment. It is Integris’ privilege to be part of the fabric of Fraser Lake and we look forward to meeting all the residents of this beautiful community” Alison Hoskins.

The decision to open the Fraser Lake branch comes after consultations with the Village of Fraser Lake, Stellat’en and Nadleh First Nations, area residents and other regional stakeholders.
