Cariboo Cougars react to postponement of season

The Major Midget Cariboo Cougars along with the Minor Midget Cariboo Cougars were getting ready for their respective playoff series this weekend when news came down that BC Hockey has postponed their season.

The Major Midget Cats were set to head down to Abbotsford for their first-round series with the Fraser Valley Thunderbirds.

Meanwhile, the Minor Midget Cougars were set to host the Thompson Blazers in the second round of their playoffs.

The decision was made by B.C hockey Thursday evening to postpone all hockey operations moving forward with no word of how long this could postponement could last and as a result, if the delay is long enough, it could effectively end the 2019-2020 season.
