School board going virtual

SD57 Board meetings going virtual

PRINCE GEORGE—School District 57 will be hosting their Board of Education Regular Public Meetings virtually in light of the COVID-19 crisis.

Moving the meetings to a virtual platform helps meet the social distancing strategy put in place by BC’s Provincial Health Officer.

Meetings will be live streamed on the School District’s website.

The public will still be able to address the Board, through email, during the typical scheduled time during meetings.

The public can submit questions and concerns via email to publicinput@sd57.bc.ca

Superintendant Anita Richardson will read the the submissions out loud during the meeting. Anyone looking to subit must do so before 5 pm on the Monday prior to the meeting and must contain full name and a number for contact purposes should clarification be required.

Electronic agendas will be available on the school district’s website on the Thursday prior to the public meeting

The Boards next scheduled meeting is set for 6 pm on April 7th.
