No new COVID-19 cases in Northern Health, over 700 recovered patients provincewide

VANCOUVER — Dr. Bonnie Henry has announced 29 new cases of the novel coronavirus in BC in Saturday’s update, bringing the provincial total to 1,203. The death total has risen to 38, three more than the previous update. In Northern Health, there are no new cases so the number remains at 21.

A positive note that came from the update is there are now 704 patients who have fully recovered.

Dr. Henry reiterated the importance of supporting family members who need it and stopping the transmission of COVID-19 through social isolation, especially for people coming back after travel.
