Lenard was held in custody by police for court and was released on bail on Apr.17.

On April 16 at around 10 p.m., Terrace RCMP received a report of a theft at a business on the 4500 block of Greig Ave. Police caught the suspect the following day.

20-year-old Anthony Keenan Pearson of Terrace is charged with:

  • Theft under $5,000
  • Obstructing a Peace Officer
  • Non-Compliance of a Probation Order
  • Failing to Comply with an Undertaking

“Both arrests involved prolific offenders in the Terrace area,” said Terrace RCMP Staff Sergeant, Michael Robinson. “But as more people continue to work from home and less people are out than usual, it’s more important than ever to make sure you are being vigilant in protecting your belongings.”

Businesses and residents are asked to ensure they double check their locks, ensure security systems are working and activated, and hide their valuables.
