Apr 22, 2020 | 10:01 AM

PRINCE GEORGE—School District 57’s (SD57) Board of Education will receive a summary report of the KRSS Engagement Questionnaire at an online forum tonight (Apr.22).

An executive summary from the KRSS Engagement Questionnaire will be shared with SD57’s Board of Education Trustees, along with aggregate quantitative data from closed questions and verbatim qualitative responses to open-ended questions.

The online forum will be available to the public via live stream starting tonight at 6 p.m. on the School District’s website.

“We have seen and received so much direct feedback, from public protest to heartfelt emails, and we are eager to see some of the trends and themes in the data from this questionnaire.”—Tim Bennett, Board Chair

The KRSS engagement Questionnaire was created to gather public feedback on the naming of the new school building that will replace the existing Kelly Road Secondary School in September of 2020.

Information was collected online, through printed copy and dedicated phone lines between March 20th and April 17th.

“It has been a challenging engagement process, largely due to circumstances outside of our control, and we anticipate that this decision will help us move forward together.” —Tim Bennett, Board Chair

The final decision on the name change will be made on April 28th at the Board’s regularly scheduled Public Meeting.
