Two killed in south Cariboo Highway 97 crash

CLINTON, B.C. — Two men were killed in a head-on crash in 70 Mile House Thursday afternoon (Apr. 24).

Mounties say a 70 Mile House man and a man from Tumbler Ridge were pronounced dead at the scene. Both were drivers in their vehicles.

RCMP says the crash occurred shortly after 2:00 p.m. near the intersection of Cunningham Road.

The RCMP Southeast District Central Interior Traffic Services are conducting the investigation.
