VANDERHOOF — Mounties are investigating what they’re calling a suspicious death near Vanderhoof.
North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says it all started on Sunday May 3 at 8:30 p.m. when a Vanderhoof RCMP member stopped a vehicle on Highway 16 near Landaluza Road west of Vanderhoof.
“While checking the occupants of the vehicle, police observed a female in the backseat who was deceased. The other two people in the vehicle were arrested.”
She says the North District Major Crime Section and North District General Investigation Section were then called in to assist the Vanderhoof RCMP.
