PRINCE GEORGE – COVID–19 has forced many people to come to a standstill with their summer plans.

For one local couple, the ongoing pandemic forced them to re-think their wedding plans and continue with their dream of getting married during the May long weekend.

A few days before their big day, Jaxon Nicol and Christine Brisbois surveyed The Home Depot parking lot as this is the area where some of their wedding guests planned to gather in their cars and then drive to the place where the couple plans to exchange their vows. WATCH VIDEO:

The initial plan was to have an indoor wedding with close to a hundred people attending but in April the couple received a phone call telling them the venue was closed because of the pandemic.

Determined to have the wedding during the long weekend the couple got creative and began to re-think their wedding plan and chose a new wedding location.

Once the COVID guidelines are lifted, the newlyweds plan to do the wedding ceremony again for the hugs they missed.
