City wants residents to pay property taxes using alternate methods, opposed to in-person
PRINCE GEORGE—The City of Prince George will be mailing out 2020 property tax notices this week and are asking residents to pay using alternate methods in order to abide by physical distancing measures in place by B.C.’s Provincial Health Officer.
A release by the City of Prince George says that paying taxes online or remotely is not merely a convenience, but is in the interest of public health.
How to pay:
- Online banking: banks and credit unions that offer payment services provide the opportunity to pay tax bills online, through telephone banking, or in-person
- By mail to City Hall
- PayTM Canada: property taxes may be paid by credit card using the PayTM Canada mobile app. Credit cards are not accepted at the City Hall Service Centre
