$15 million work on Hwy.16 set to begin soon
BURNS LAKE—In the coming weeks crews will begin work to build new traffic lanes on Hwy.16, west of Burns Lake.
In a release by the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure it says that the project will improve safety and efficiency for people travelling through the area.

The $15 million project will include construction of a two kilometre westbound passing lane, extension of the eastbound passing lane by 400 metres, and improvements to the entry and exit lanes to the brake check and chain off areas at 6 Mile Summit.
