Tiessen commits to UNBC

The UNBC Timberwolves Men’s Basketball team has found its newest shooting guard.

The team announced Monday morning that David Tiessen has committed to the school for the 2020-2021 season.

The Calgary product stands at 6’4 and is described as having smooth athleticism and a willingness to shoot from the outside or drive to the bucket.

“I am super excited to be a part of UNBC. It is the highest level you can play in Canada, and I am looking forward to becoming a better player and training with the best players around me. U SPORTS basketball has been a goal of mine since Grade 10, and I really pushed myself. I believed I could make it if I put in the hours and the work,” stated Tiessen in a press release sent out by UNBC.

Tiessen is set to graduate from Centennial in June and plans to student commerce and marketing at UNBC.
