Local multi-sport athlete staying at home as he makes jump to University
A local multi-sport star is staying in Prince George as he makes the jump to the next level.
UNBC Men’s Soccer announced Friday morning that Prince George product Connor Lewis has committed to the club for next season.
“I am really excited for the opportunity to play at UNBC. It’s my hometown team and I grew up watching them, so it’s really an honour and a great opportunity. It was a couple of years ago when my brother graduated and signed with UNBC that I started asking myself whether or not playing university soccer was something I wanted to pursue. I quickly realized that it was.,” stated Lewis in a press release sent out by UNBC.
Connor is the younger brother of current T-Wolf Graeme Lewis and son of UNBC Assistant Coach Rob Lewis.
