Kings acquire 20 year old forward from Penticton

The trade winds continue to blow in the City of Prince George as the Spruce Kings announced another deal Wednesday morning.

The club revealed they had acquired 20-year-old forward Darwin Lakoduk from the Penticton Vees in exchange for Future Considerations.

Lakoduk spent the 19/20 season split between the Victoria Grizzlies and the Penticton Vees where he put up 11 goals and 12 assists.

The Edmonton Alberta product will also bring plenty of experience to the Kings lineup as he has suited up in 113 BCHL games.

“He is good in both ends of the ice and will be looked upon to provide leadership while playing in all situations for us this upcoming season,” stated Spruce Kings General Manager Mike Hawes in a press release.
