WILLIAMS LAKE–The Cariboo Regional District (CRD) is reminding residents that flood warnings and watches remain in effect, even though we may be seeing a break in rainy weather.

The CRD says that residents, seasonal property owners, and visitors to the Cariboo region should remain on alert for potential flooding impacts.

“It is especially important to exercise extreme caution around fast-moving water, potentially unstable riverbanks, and lake shorelines.”–Release from the Cariboo Regional District

According to B.C. River Forecast Centre, another spike in river levels is expected in the Cariboo Chilcotin next week.
