There are 166 active cases in B.C. and 16 of those people are hospitalized – including 4 people in critical care or intensive care units.

Sadly, six new deaths were reported today, bringing the provincial total to 183.

“It’s a sombre day for us,” said B.C. Health Minister Adrian Dix who added his thoughts were with families of those who died.

Dr. Henry added visitors to this province need to keep in mind that “here in B.C., we’re keeping our bubbles small and maintaining safe distances and using masks when necessary.”

She added people are also staying home when sick and urged visitors to the province to please adhere to the same guidelines.
