RCMP seek witnesses in collision that landed one man in hospital
FORT ST. JOHN—RCMP are searching for witnesses in a collision that landed a man in hospital.
On Wednesday, August 5, at around 5:58 p.m. Fort St. John RCMP received a report of a collision on Prespatou Road by the 260 Road in Murdale, B.C.
Two vehicles, which RCMP say are described as work trucks, were headed southbound when a steel flange came off one of the trucks and struck a northbound vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was transported to hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
Police say that neither of the southbound vehicles stopped and may not have been aware of what happened. Currently police are searching for more information on the vehicles, at this time they know that one of the transport trucks was white and the other was black.
