NORTH VANCOUVER–Some of ICBC’s COVID-19 temporary measures are set to expire in the coming weeks.

A release by the Crown Corporation says that as British Columbia moves into Phase Three of its Restart Plan and more British Columbians hit the roads again, three of the COVID-19 temporary measures will expire.

The waving of the $30 insurance cancellation charge, suspension of fleet vehicle insurance, and allowance of unlimited deliveries by drivers in non-delivery rate classes, will end on August 20th.

As the measures come to an end, ICBC customers are being encouraged to talk to their broker to ensure they are properly insured, including those people who are using their vehicle for the delivery of food or medical products and services.
