Metallica and Three Days Grace to rock PG’s Park Drive-In Theatre

PRINCE GEORGE – Enter Sandman.

That’s right. Metallica will be coming to Prince George on August 29th.

Now, it won’t be in the flesh. Instead, it will be a part of the Encore Drive-In Nights series, with a full set showing at hundreds of drive-in and outdoor theatres across the United States and Canada.

The show will be shot specifically for the Encore Drive-In Nights Series at a location near the band’s Northern California headquarters and will subsequently be edited and mixed by Metallica’s award-winning production team to the highest standards possible.

“Sure, it’s weird. Sure, it’s different from what we’re all used to. But this is 2020, and if we’ve learned anything it’s that we all just have to freakin’ figure it out, and that’s what we’re doing here,” explained Encore Live CEO Walter Kinzie.

The concert, the band’s first show in nearly a year, will feature material from throughout their nearly four-decade career and provide Metallica fans with an intimate, unique and truly memorable concert experience.

To top it all off, the 9-time Grammy award-winning metal band will be featuring Canadian rock band Three Days Grace as well.

Prince George will be the lone spot selected to showcase the concert in BC, taking place at the Park Drive-In Theatre.

The Drive-In experience will be fairly different from traditional concerts as a full carload simply needs one ticket. That means up to six people can enjoy this once-in-a-lifetime show for one price.
