First COVID-19 death in Northern Health: 317 new cases in B.C.
VICTORIA—The Northern Health region has reported it’s first COVID-19 related death since the start of the pandemic.
Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry says that the death in the Northern Health Authority was a woman in her 70’s who was exposed to the virus after attending an event. Health officials reported on a three day period—from Friday through today (Sept.14)—with six total deaths. B.C.’s death toll is now at 219.
