Kings acquire Main from Wenatchee Wild

PRINCE GEORGE—The Prince George Spruce Kings have added another face to the roster.

The Kings acquired defenceman Tanner Main from the Wenatchee Wild in exchange for future considerations.

“Tanner is a veteran defenceman who is very skilled, moves the puck well and will be able to run our power-play…He is a great addition to our team, and we are excited that we were able to complete a deal to acquire him.”—Mike Hawes, General Manager, Spruce Kings

Main finished the 2019-20 campaign with 2 goals and 17 assists in 54 games played.

The 5’10”, 160 pound 20-year-old is also committed to playing NCAA Division 1 Hockey at Bentley University in 2021-22. Before joining the Wild, the Welland, Ontario product spent two seasons with the St. Catherines Falcons of the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League where he finished with eight goals, 32 assists in 76 games played in two seasons.
