Ferguson Lake boardwalk being upgraded

PRINCE GEORGE–City crews are upgrading one of the sections of boardwalk at Ferguson Lake Nature Reserve, over the next few days.

Ageing wooden posts are in need of an upgrade. The City of Prince George says that new steel posts, dug more than 10 feet deep into the ground, along with new wood cross-pieces and decking are being added.

The work is being completed at the south end of the park over the next few days, the City is asking that park-goers avoid that area of the trail.
