Why are you running for office?

I am running for a seat in the MLA because for so long I have seen politicians from all major parties create more division then unity. I look to empower all people under the same set of laws and not have special privileges for anyone in society, politicians especially.

How does your party plan to address the issue of climate change?

As a party we would seek solutions at the most local level the communities. By reducing taxation on everyone and eliminating all pst for those making less then 20,000$ a year, we would all be more free to address  the pressing concerns locally.

How would you address the challenges facing some Aboriginal communities across our region?

Instead of our federal government giving money away to other countries, I would press the federal government to help get clean water and proper housing in place for aboriginal communities that need it.

What’s your stance on the development of pipelines?

I fully support pipelines, as they are the most carbon negative method to transport oil and gas resources. As long as all individuals who can be affected by any negative outcome are consulted and give consent. I would also love to see us build water pipelines  for transporting clean water in times of droughts or for diverting flood water in times of floods.

How would your party address the spike in violent crime in Prince George?

Simple, by addressing the opioid and drug crisis as a mental health issue and not a criminal one. If we can get people whom use drugs to buy from a safe supplier like a government storefront,  there won’t be a need for as many nar-can kits when there is safer sources for individuals  to buy  from.

Has the provincial government done a good job at handling the COVID-19 crisis? If not, how would you or your party manage it differently?

I think the current government has done  the bare minimum. What does concern me is when a government gets to determine whom is and isn’t essential. I strongly believe we all have different needs and  that “essential” is completely different from one person to the next. My party would never force the closures of small business and would simply educate the public about the risks around covid.

What would you do to help seniors?

I would provide a 2,500$ rebate each year to those whom choose to take care of their own parents at their own home taking strain off of current infrastructure. Rather then sending them away to a facility where they are far away we can get people to take care of their own parents again. It shouldn’t be the governments jobs to do so.

How would you address the opioid crisis in Northern BC?

As mentioned above, treat it as a mental health crisis,  stop wasting police resources, and allow individuals who are informed about the risk involved in using the drugs  to buy them from a safe government storefront, to reduce street drug supplies.

Where in the riding do you live? Why? What are your favourite places to spend time in?

I live in Salmon Valley, I love spending time in the pine pass at Powder King resort, l also frequent tabor mountain trail system, and I enjoy going out to west lake.

Name the last Netflix show you binge-watched?

The last Netflix show I binge watched would have to be 100. I don’t get much free time with a little 13 month old  son  and being the stay at home Dad.
