$850,000 approved for Quesnel’s waterfront development project

QUESNEL—$855,559 have been approved through Northern Development’s Strategic Initiative Fund for the City of Quesnel’s waterfront development project.

The Project would secure the enhancement of eight kilometres of riverfront, allowing for future economic opportunities such as boutique shopping, patio dining, and river recreation.

The project will also feature the Lhtako Dene Cultural Centre and will improve on already existing amenities such as the Riverfront Trail and Fraser River Footbridge.
