Snowfall warning issued for Pine Pass

PRINCE GEORGE — Motorists beware: Environment Canada has issued a snowfall warning for Highway 97 and the Pine Pass.

“A storm system will move into the BC Interior today and stall over the region tonight,” says the national forecaster. “Flurries are expected today followed by 10 cm of snow tonight.”

Flurries will likely continue on Wednesday. Motorists are reminded that weather in the mountains can change suddenly resulting in hazardous driving conditions.
