Towering forward commits to Spruce Kings for 2021-22 season

PRINCE GEORGE – The Spruce Kings are beefing up their future attack.

On Tuesday, the club announced the commitment of 6-foot-4 forward Evan Fedele (’04) for the 2021-22 season.

The towering 16-year-old from Coquitlam, BC spent the 2019-20 season with the Burnaby Winter Club Elite 15s of the Canadian Sport School Hockey League (CSSHL), where he tallied 10 goals with 18 helpers in 33 games played. Fedele also spent 8 games with the U18 BWC Prep team where he had two goals and 4 assists in that span.

“The Spruce Kings showed a lot of professionalism, as well as commitment towards their players. They have strong goals as a team, overall making it a great fit for me,” Fedele said in a release regarding his decision to join the Spruce Kings.

With a 6’4, 190-pound frame, the forward says he definitely likes to use his size advantage in his game as much as he can.
