RCMP – arson the cause of Norwood Street fire
PRINCE GEORGE — Prince George RCMP have determined that arson was the cause of last week’s fire on Norwood Street.
The blaze broke out just after 7 a.m. on January 14 at a home on the 2100 block of Norwood Street.
“A fire investigator from the Prince George RCMP attended the scene as the City Fire Investigators believed the cause of the fire to be suspicious,” says Cst. Jennifer Cooper. “Examination of the residence showed investigators that the fire started outside of the residence. At this time, investigators believe the fire is the result of arson.”
