Death toll at UHNBC’s Internal Medine Unit reaches 5

PRINCE GEORGE — Five people have now died in connection to the Covid-19 outbreak at UHNBC’s Internal Medicine Unit.

Twenty patients and 12 staff have tested positive for the virus since the outbreak was declared on December 29.

Meantime Northern Health says the outnreak in the hospital’s Rehab Unit has been declared over while just two cases of Covid-19 remain active among patients at Jubilee Lodge.
