Knife attack in 100 Mile House

100 MILE HOUSE — One person is in police custody following an assault in 100 Mile House.

RCMP say it occurred yesterday (Mar.4) at around 4 p.m. in the 400 block of Cedar Avenue.

Police allege two males were fighting when one pulled a knife and was swinging it at another male. Officers arrived and arrested the suspect in the 100 block of Birch Avenue. Both men were slightly injured.

RCMP say both individuals know each other and are known to police. The knife and a prohibited device were located on the suspect after he was arrested.
