Northern Health readies for workforce immunizations

PRINCE GEORGE — Northern Health is getting ready to facilitate the vaccination of workers in high risk locations such as industrial work settings.

It’s been made possible by the additional supply of COVID-19 vaccine in BC.

B.C’.s supply of AstraZeneca is being targeted toward large industrial project worksites. The first priorities are workforces of LNG Canada, Coastal GasLink, Trans Mountain Pipeline, Site C and Rio Tinto Alcan. Additional industrial settings will be targeted in the coming weeks.
