PRINCE GEORGE — Students in the north, including right here in Prince George, will benefit from provincial funding to help them cope with the pressures brought on by COVID-19.

Since March last year, students in northern B.C. have received $1,283,500, including 333,000 for CNC and 441,500 for UNBC.

Victoria says the non-repayable emergency assistance can be used to help with a number of things including food, travel, living expenses and portable computers.
