862 new cases of COVID-19 in B.C., 26 in the Northern Health region

VICTORIA — Provincial Health Officer Dr. Bonnie Henry and Health
Minister Adrian Dix announced 862 new cases of COVID-19 in B.C. today, 26 in the Northern Health region.

The number of active cases has dropped to 8,906 with 483 people hospitalized, 164 of whom are in intensive care.

There is no update on the variants of concern.
