Outdoor sports now allowed to have up to 50 spectators
PRINCE GEORGE – It’s a day of celebration for local sports organizations as British Columbia officially enters Step 2 of the BC Restart Plan.
With regards to sports, Step 2 allows for the return of indoor high and low-intensity group exercise at fitness establishments. These groups are to be kept with reduced capacity, however.
Indoor and outdoor games and practices for both adults and youth group/team sports are allowed once again. Before June 15, this was limited to just outdoors for both group demographics.
Finally, Step 2 brings the return of spectators to a limited extent. Spectators for outdoor sports are allowed to reach a capacity of up to 50 individuals.
