HOUSTON, B.C. — Mounties are investigating a break and enter at the Silver Queen Mine.

North District RCMP Cpl. Madonna Saunderson says police received a report of a break, enter and theft on the Morice-Owen Forest Service Road last Tuesday.

“A 22-foot travel trailer, bobcat, skid steer, two quads, and a Ford van were taken from the site,” she says. “The office building window was smashed and many small items were also taken. Other buildings at the mine site had the locks broken and it appears that the buildings were gone through although nothing appears to have been taken.”

She says the investigation is ongoing although there are no suspects.
