Spruce Kings bring in American Jimmy Doyle for 2021-22 season

PRINCE GEORGE – The Prince George Spruce Kings looked south of the border for their latest addition.

The team announced they have acquired forward Jimmy Doyle (’02) from the Bismarck Bobcats of the North American Hockey League (NAHL).

Doyle, from Plainfield, IL, finished the 2020-21 season with eight points in 36 games played with the Bobcats.

“Jimmy is a great addition to our team,” said GM Mike Hawes in a release issued by the team. “With only a couple of roster spots to fill, we were being very selective on the type of player we are adding. Jimmy has good size, speed, and skill, and checks a lot of boxes for us on the player we were after.”
