The Prince George Italian Club held a viewing party where over a dozen people gathered to watch the game which ended up being filled with plenty of suspenseful moments.

“This was a remarkable win,” said Ron Polillo, Vice-President of the PG Italian Club.

Polillo said after Italy missed the World Cup not long ago, seeing the team rally to win the Euro Cup this year was something he isn’t sure he’ll see again in his lifetime.

The viewing party was the first event held at the newly renovated PG Italian Club downtown, and the first time the building has been open since the pandemic began.

The Royal Family was in attendance to watch the match along with Prince George who showed a variety of facial reactions that also generated online attention.
