COVID-19 milestone: 80% of eligible people 12 and older have received first dose of COVID vaccine in BC

VICTORIA — A milestone when it comes to vaccinations in BC.

Eighty per cent of eligible people 12 and older have received their first dose of COVID-19 vaccine and 54.4 per cent have received their second dose.

Seventy-six new cases of the virus province-wide, though none of those in northern B.C.

There are 692 active cases of COVID-19 in the province. Of those active cases, 50 people are in hospital and 12 are in intensive care.
